Tayanita Miles: Capturing Moments in Silence
I have loved photography since middle school. I was born into a Deaf family, and myself is hard of hearing and fluent in sign language.
Photography started as a hobby for me but it quickly became my way of expressing myself. My unique perspective helps me capture moments others might miss, showing beauty in everyday life.
I am a country girl at heart! I own small acreages with horses, goats, chickens, ducks, a pig, dogs and cats! Definitely a huge animal lover! Bring your pets to your sessions, I won’t say no!
As someone fluent in sign language, and as a hard of hearing person, I strive to connect the Deaf and hearing communities with my art. Accessibility means so much to me.
